Contact Patient Admissions and Accounts for questions about payment, prices or to pay by card.

Admissions and Accounts are open Mon to Fri 11am to 1pm.

You may pay by Credit and Debit cards, Postal Order, Club Cheques and Cash but not Personal Cheques.

You may also pay online at http://www.sivuh.ie/payabill.html


Public Patients

Medical Card Holders please bring your up to date medical card details

GP Cards, drug payment scheme card or European Health Insurance Cards cannot be used to pay for hospital stays.

Non medical card or health insurance holders should please bring €80 per day case or per night of stay.


Private Patients - Insured

Please bring your current health insurance policy details. Your policy must be in date and valid.

Before coming to hospital, check that you are covered for your procedure by your insurance company.

You can get the procedure code from your Consultant.

You will need to pay for costs not covered by your insurer.

 

Patients on Private lists cannot move to Public lists on arrival to hospital.

Private/Semi-private patients may be given a public bed depending on bed availability.


Private Patients – Uninsured

You will need to pay on arrival to hospital.

The fees are:

Day Case: €407 

Semi-private room overnight: €813

Private room overnight:€1000

Patients on Private lists cannot move to Public lists on arrival to hospital.

Private/Semi-private patients may be given a public bed if available.
