SIVUH Public Notice - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Notice & Visiting Restrictions.

We ask you the patient not to attend the hospital in the following circumstances:
- If you have had any new onset of symptoms of COVID -19 in the last 14 days.
- If you are awaiting a COVID -19 tests or a test result because of being symptomatic in the last 14 days.
- If you have been advised that you are a close contact of a person with COVID-19.
- If a household member is symptomatic and awaiting testing.
- If you have travelled from a restricted area as per public health guidance.

Please note strict visiting restrictions remain in place. See Visiting section for more information.

The Outpatient department has re-commenced a routine service. Some patient consultations are now taking place via telephone and/or video calls.  To ensure patient safety and to comply with social distancing, please do not arrive early for your appointment but arrive on time.

Elective inpatient and day case procedures have re-commenced. Patients will be contacted directly by the hospital regarding admission. Patients are asked not to attend the hospital unless they are contacted and provided with a specific appointment

We apologise for the inconvenience to our patients but we do this in the interests of all our patients and staff, as per Infection Control and Public Health guidance.
