SIVUH Quality and Risk Management Mission Statement

The SIVUH is committed to achieving excellence in the delivery of patient centred care in an environment that promotes the safety, well being and satisfaction of our patients, staff and visitors while safeguarding the continuity of services, assets and reputation of the hospital.

The SIVUH through its risk management programme aims to reduce risk to patients, staff and the organisation and to manage and control risks to an acceptable level where they affect:

  • the quality of care
  • the health, safety and welfare of patients, visitors, carers and staff
  • the delivery of services by the hospital
