Visiting

  2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

We welcome visitors to the hospital and appreciate the importance of such visits for the well being of our patients.

The SIVUH is implementing guidelines as recommended by the Health Service Executive (HSE).

• Visitors are restricted to two per patient at all times. 
• Special arrangements for the Childrens Ward and Intensive Care Unit may be made with the ward manager for visiting outside these hours.
• Children other than patient’s own children should not be brought to visit. Children must be under direct parental / guardian supervision at all times. Arrangements for young children (under 12) visiting should be made with the ward manager.
• Recommended length of visit is no longer than twenty minutes.
