Mission Statement

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics aims to improve the nutritional status of the patients and staff of the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital.

Department Profile

Department Description

There are currently 5 Dietitians working within the department. The post of Dietetic Manager is shared and held by Anne Hevers and Linda Perrott. There are two Senior Dietitians - Rosemarie Kelly and Elizabeth O'Mahony and Emma Clifford, Basic Grade Dietitian.

Services Provided

In patient and outpatient services are provided to all specialities within the hospital.

Patients must be referred through a consultant within the hospital.

Location

The main office is located on the 2nd floor of the Victoria Hospital in the Diabetes Centre.

Some out- patient clinics can be held in other parts of the hospital, please refer to your outpatient letter/ appointment card for further information.

Opening Hours

0900hrs – 1630hrs, Monday – Friday.
Early morning appointments (8.30am-9am ) can be facilitated.
