Paediatric Orthopaedic Physiotherapy

The Paediatric Physiotherapy service provides physiotherapy assessment and treatment for children with musculoskeletal injuries or following orthopaedic surgery.

We are a specialist centre for the treatment and management of ‘Club Feet’, using the Ponsetti Method, in conjunction with the Orthopaedic service.

A Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist triages the orthopaedic paediatric waiting list and assesses children with normal variants (e.g. flat feet, in-toeing) and painful conditions of the lower limb.

This service can be accessed by referral from South Infirmary University Hospital Consultants only.
