Cardiology Department aims to deliver a quality and efficient cardiac diagnostic service, based on best practice, in a timely, dignified and professional manner.

Department Profile

Department Description:
Cardiology Department provides the Hospital Cardiac Diagnostic and follow-up Services

Services Provided:
The services provided by the department include resting and exercise electrocardiography (ECG), Holter monitoring, Event monitoring, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring, transthoracic and transoesphageal echocardiography, pacemaker and defibrillator follow-up.

Location:
The Cardiology Department is located on the second floor of the main South Infirmary Complex, above the Out-Patient’s Department.

To access the department take the lift, opposite the hospital shop, to the second floor.

Staff:
The Department currently has six Technical staff:

Opening Hours:
In-patient services run from 08.00 to 17.00 and out-patient services from 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday
